Welcome to Exquisite Beauty Ivybridge.

Nestled on the edge of Dartmoor within Ivybridge and attached to Dinnaton Health Club, Exquisite Beauty is owned and run by Kate, who has over 19 years experience in the beauty industry.

 

Kate opened the salon17 years ago and has recently undertaken a full refurbishment and expansion.

Kate has qualifications in Beauty Therapy Sciences and is licensed by South Hams District Council to provide Electrolysis treatments. She specialises in intimate waxing which she has a passion for and is also a qualified Dermalogica Skin Therapist, Expert Status. 

 

With the industry constantly evolving, Kate prides herself in keeping her skills up to date with regular training for herself and the team, making sure they are confident and competent to treat many skin concern's and offer professional advice.

Amy is the friendly voice on the end of the phone, here to help with running the salon and taking phone calls. Amy is also a qualified CND shellac technician with a great eye for nail art. 

 

Sophie joined early 2021, she is a local mum of two. Sophie is a Dermalogica Skin Expert with many years of experience. Sophie has a passion for all beauty treatments, she loves making people feel great from top to toe.

 

Leah joined august 2021 she is a highly experienced therapist with 8 years of experience behind her. Leah is our Mircoblading and Dermaplaning expert. She has brought a wealth of knowledge to the salon, she is excited to welcome new and existing clients to the salon. 

 

Sophie became part of the team in 2025, bringing with her approximately five years of experience in creating stunning nail designs. She is passionate about all forms of art and takes immense pride in her accomplishments. Whether working on a classic French manicure or a vibrant, colourful creation, Sophie is dedicated to realising her clients’ visions. Outside of work, she is a busy mum to three lively and delightful daughters. Amidst the school runs and household duties, she discovered a need for something that allowed her to embrace her own identity, which led her to begin her journey in nails at the age of 25. Her primary aim is to empower other mothers with hectic lives, helping them to feel confident and beautiful through expertly crafted nails. After completing college, Sophie initially worked with acrylic systems but has recently started working with BIAB, quickly falling in love with both the application process and the product itself. She is excited to continue developing her BIAB skills and finds working alongside the team and meeting clients both new and returning truly rewarding.

 

 

Laura has recently relocated to Plymouth to join her partner and embark on a new chapter. With a decade of experience as a beauty therapist in Caerphilly, South Wales, Laura is especially passionate about massage and facials, though she has become particularly well-known for her nails and nail art. She enjoys when clients arrive with inspiration photos, challenging her to push her nail art skills further. Laura is looking forward to starting work in her new location and meeting new clients.

 

 

Ailis has worked as a therapist for the past fifteen years, accumulating a broad and valuable range of experience within the beauty industry. Over the years, she has refined her expertise while working with a diverse clientele. Ailis is passionate about her craft and thrives on creativity, especially in nail enhancements, gel nails, and BIAB. Alongside her creative pursuits, she also enjoys the holistic side of beauty therapy, performing treatments such as massage and facials and witnessing their positive impact on clients’ health and wellbeing.
